Steely Dan has, like, a problem with “You, Me and Dupree.” Band members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen fired off a letter (posted on the band’s Web site) to star Owen Wilson’s brother Luke. In it, Becker and Fagen call the movie a ripoff of their song “Cousin Dupree” and add that “there may be some righteous dues to pay, amen.”
