Frequently we encounter signs saying, “Share the Road,” meaning to give courtesy and consideration to bicyclists. Unfortunately the norm for bicyclists seems to be to not reciprocate. Routinely bicycle riders go through stop signs and stoplights and disobey every conceivable rule of the road. They also frequently ride on sidewalks. And they will often come speeding from the sidewalk through a crosswalk at an intersection.
