Showtime’s Golden Globe-winning series “Weeds” has reached a new high: Snoop Dogg and Zooey Deschanel (“Elf,” “Failure to Launch”) will appear as special guest stars.
Snoop will play himself and, fittingly, will record a song about weed. Deschanel appears in three episodes as “Kat,” Andy’s crazed ex-girlfriend from Season 1 who drove him to move to Alaska.
Also coming in Season 2, which begins Aug. 14, are performances of the theme song “Little Boxes” by different artists.
