What better way to welcome Rosie O’Donnell to “The View” than with a heaping helping of Jessica Simpson?
Well, there are probably better ways, but Simpson will nonetheless be the guest on the Sept. 5 show, a “View” spokesman confirmed–the same day O’Donnell makes her debut as co-host.
Meanwhile, Simpson’s ex, Nick Lachey, is doing some televised chatting of his own. In an interview with TV tabloid “Extra,” Lachey said, “I’d like to believe I’ll have a family and have kids of my own.”
Will it be with Vanessa Minnillo, with whom he’s been linked? “She’s a great friend. I’ll leave it at that,” Lachey said.
