– Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized Wednesday in Los Angeles, People.com reports. The actress, who is filming the movie “Georgia Rule” in the area, was taken to a hospital early Wednesday morning. “She was overheated and dehydrated,” Lohan’s rep, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick told TV’s “The Insider.” “She was filming in 105-degree weather for 12 hours.”

– The iconic black gown worn by Audrey Hepburn in the opening scene of the 1961 film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” will be auctioned in London for charity later this year. The gown, designed by Hubert de Givenchy, is expected to fetch $130,000 at the Dec. 5 auction, Christie’s said Wednesday. Proceeds will benefit City of Joy Aid, a charity that provides relief to impoverished children in India. The founders of the charity received the gown as a gift from Givenchy.

– Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell has scored one of cinema’s most coveted soundtrack gigs, writing and performing the main title song for “Casino Royale,” Zap2it.com reports. Cornell worked with Bond composer David Arnold to write a track titled “You Know My Name,” which will play over the main titles of “Casino Royale” when it opens on Nov. 17.

– “World Trade Center,” Oliver Stone’s movie about the rescue of two police officers from the towers on Sept. 11, will donate 10 percent of its opening weekend box office receipts to a ground zero memorial and three other Sept. 11-related charities. The Paramount Pictures film, starring Nicolas Cage, opens Aug. 9 at more than 2,000 theaters nationwide.

– Jessica Simpson will be a guest on “The View” when Rosie O’Donnell debuts as a co-host in September. The ABC show has booked Simpson for Sept. 5, a spokesman confirmed Wednesday. O’Donnell, who hosted “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” from 1996 to 2002, is replacing Meredith Vieira.
