LIBERTYVILLE, DISTRICT 70
– The district is donating $25,000 to help rebuild a reading area in a children’s museum in southern Mississippi that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. District 70 donated the funds to The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center in Gulfport, Miss. For more information, call 847-362-8393.
– Jonathan Hallmark has been named the new associate principal at Highland Middle School. Hallmark, who has been dean of students at Old Orchard Junior High School in Skokie, replaces Tabatha Reeves.

– The annual Health and Community Services Fair will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19 in West Oak Middle School, 500 Acorn Lane. School and sports physicals and shots will be given at no cost.
