Eunice V. Janda, nee Ahlquist, 81, passed away peacefully July 25, 2006. Born Oct. 7, 1924 in Chicago to Frank W. and Ruth E., nee Hockert, Ahlquist; moved to Nebraska after marrying Dale A. Janda in 1946. Survived by her children; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her five children are Sharon Nemeth of Lincoln, NE, Barbara Janda of El Paso, TX, Carolyn Stontz of Cedar Rapids, IA, Marilyn Kortum of Arlington, TX and Mark Janda of Omaha, NE. Eunice was always proud to claim Chicago as her hometown.
