– A foundation started by CNN’s Larry King will cover the cost of cardiac care for about 300 uninsured patients at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. King started the foundation after his successful quintuple bypass heart surgery in 1997.

– Prince’s wife, Manuela Testolini Nelson, has filed for divorce, Prince’s attorney confirmed. Prince, whose full name is Prince Rogers Nelson, 48, and Testolini Nelson, 29, who worked at Prince’s charitable foundation, wed in 2001, according to People.com

– A New York judge on Thursday agreed to dismiss criminal charges against a former disc jockey who insulted a rival’s wife and daughter on the air. The case against Troi Torain, known as DJ Star, was adjourned for six months. Charges will be dropped as long as he stays out of trouble. The prosecutor said this resolution “serves the best interest of the 4-year-old victim by sparing the victim any further attention.”

– Mary J. Blige appears Friday on ABC’s “One Life to Live.” Blige will perform a couple of songs at the Capricorn club in the fictional town of Llanview, Pa.
