Angela B. Lambert, 67, resident of Wheaton, IL, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 26, after a prolonged struggle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. Born in Swindon, England in 1939, and after an early nursing career and marriage in Oxford, she came to America with her family in 1970. An ardent nd wonderful gardener, she served as treasurer to the Wheaton Garden Club for 30 years. She also was seamstress for many brides in the Western Suburbs. Beloved by her family, Angela is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Joanna; sons, Christopher and Julian; grandchildren, Sophia and William; her sister, Olga and brother, Nicholas. Her joy for life touched everyone, while the courage of her final days inspired her family and her friends. Funeral arrangements are private.
