Speaking of “American Idol” winners, Taylor Hicks is on his way to becoming published, according to the New York Post. The Alabama crooner has reached a deal with the Crown Publishing Group to write a memoir, the Post reports. Crown hopes to have the book, which promises to detail Hicks’ rise from struggling singer to superstar, out by the spring of 2007.
