Four women were injured Sunday morning–at least one of them critically–when two vehicles collided in St. Charles, near the Charlestowne Mall, police said.
A pickup truck traveling south on Smith Road at about 8 a.m. pulled into the intersection at East Main Street and collided with a car traveling east, said a St. Charles police statement.
A woman in the car was airlifted to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in critical condition.
Two other women in the car were taken to Delnor-Community Hospital, police said.
Their conditions and ages were not available.
The pickup driver also was taken to Delnor, where she was treated and released.
