STEARMAN FLY-IN

The 35th annual National Stearman Fly-In takes place from Sept. 4-10 at the Galesburg Municipal Airport, on Illinois Highway 164, one mile west of the U.S. Highway 34 junction. The fly-in draws more than 100 of the colorful World War II biplanes and features seminars, aerobatics shows and restoration judging. CHARITY RUN

All motorcyclists are invited to ride in Marklund’s 2nd annual Bike Run from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9. Proceeds benefit Marklund, a non-profit network of services providing a full-life experience for infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities. Check-in begins at 1:30 p.m. at Wildfire Harley-Davidson, 120 W. North Ave., Villa Park or Suburban Harley-Davidson, 2200 N. Rand Rd., Palatine. The run costs $25 per rider or $30 two-up. SAFE BOATING

BRITISH CAR FEST

The 20th annual British Car Union Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills. Vehicle registration is $20. TOP CATS RUN

LAKEFRONT TOUR

The 18th annual Boulevard Lakefront Tour is set for Sept. 10. The tour, sponsored by the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, starts at 7 a.m. at the Midway Plaisance.
