As a retired Chicago police sergeant, I am appalled at the light sentence that Judge Rebecca Pallmeyer gave to George Ryan. Ryan deserved the maximum sentence.
On another note: Illinois is catching up to Louisiana for the title of having the most governors sentenced to jail.
