Nothing gets local music fans excited quite like the words “free show”–especially when there’s a Chicago artist involved.
Rapper Lupe Fiasco, whose debut album drops today, will perform a free concert tonight at the Metro.
The catch? You’ll need a wristband, and to get it you need a printout of your myspace.com profile with “Secret Shows” in your Top 8. You trade that for a wristband at Tower Records at 2301 N. Clark St. More info is available on MySpace.
Other “secret” shows around the country have included The Killers, Jet, Oasis and The Rapture.
