John Patrick Buster, 87, formerly of Chicago and West Chicago, died Wednesday in the home of his daughter Donna Sundwall, in Valparaiso Indiana. He was a WWII Army Veteran, retired from the Chicago Tribune. Visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Student Center, 1511 LaPorte Ave, Valparaiso. Services at 1 p.m. His body will be cremated. Preceded in died by his wife June Patricia and survived by daughter Donna (Allen) Sundwall, son Dennis (Kathy) Buster of Prior Lake, MN; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two great step grandchildren. In lieu flowers the family request contributions to The American Heart Association or The Visiting Nurse Hospice Program of Porter County, Indiana.
