Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Folks, we have a real reason to celebrate this weekend. The Saints are playing their first game in the Superdome since 2005 was lost in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. And the Saints are playing the Atlanta Falcons–on Monday night, no less.

I’m all for sentiment and properly remembering what rebuilding efforts have meant to New Orleans and what New Orleans means to all of us. Let’s put down the beer for a sec and take that somber moment of reflection at the beginning of the game.

Then kick back and have fun again. We’re talking about two 2-0 teams from the same division in a national showcase.

This. House. Will. Be. Rockin’!

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

Get the boat jokes out of your system, this is serious business. The Bears’ Rex Grossman leads the NFL in TD passes with five, but the Vikings defense is based on the schemes in which the Bears D is rooted. So suddenly you have to ask yourself, could Rex beat his own defense? And could he do it on the road? I love pop quizzes.
