I LOVE …

… the unmatched customer service at Rotofugi Designer Toy Store & Gallery (1953 W. Chicago Ave.). The owners Kirby and Whitney Kerr obviously enjoy their jobs providing unique art objects to collectors in the Chicago area and beyond. I love giving them my money!

–Andrew Kitzmiller, Mundelein

… the quality and affordability of Aquinas Napa Valley wines. Who would think a $10 Napa Cabernet could be soooo good!!!

–Brett Bauer, Oswego

… the view of the Chicago River at the Midway Club (in the University of Chicago Gleacher Center).

–Trine Tsouderos, reporter

I HATE …

… going to a restaurant and getting nice, warm bread only to get ice-cold, rock-solid butter to put on it. There is no way to spread the butter without tearing up the bread.

–Kathy McMahon, Chicago

… when people “reply” to an e-mail when they should “reply to all” so everyone else on the original e-mail can see the response.

–Hilda Piell, Northbrook

… people who haven’t figured out how to put their cell phones on vibrate mode. How annoying to hear your ringtone–and subsequent loud conversation–at the game, at the table next to me, in the theater.

–Lara Weber, editor
