Chicago: A cool start, but sunshine aids temperatures to climb into the 60s in the morning, peaking in the low to mid 70s as high-level clouds gradually increase this afternoon. Clouds will thicken and scattered showers may accompany a warm front as it passes through northeast Illinois overnight.
