Matson, 85 years, WWII Army Veteran, served in the Pacific, beloved husband of the late Gertrude, nee Spitzer; loving father of Mike (Elizabeth); cherished grandfather of Katherine and Christopher; caring brother of the late Leonard (Theda) Matuszew- ski. Memorial Mass Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 601 S. Meyers Rd., Lombard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Pius School, same address as church.
