I have voted in every election since the late 1940s. (I have also been an election judge for many years.)
But not I am considering not voting in November–at least not for governor.
Reason: I don’t know the agenda of either candidate.
The TV commercials portray both candidates as corrupt and dishonest. I have yet to hear what either candidate would do to correct the misdeeds of the opponent and to make the state of Illinois a great state in which to live.
Is it possible in the few weeks before the election the negative ads could cease and the candidates could address the issues that matter to the citizens of Illinois? I sure hope so!
