Stella Manolis, nee Barbouletos, 92, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, in Chicago on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006. Born Aug. 17, 1914, in Oakland, CA, she will be remembered for her sweet and tender love, her vivacious laughter and her Christian faith. Her beauty inside and out prevailed against her hardships. She is survived by her loving children, Leo and Mary (Randy) Robertson; grandchildren, Stefanie Linnemann and Joe Robert- son; and stepgrandchildren, Courtney Robertson, Phil (Karen), Chris, Shari (Paul) Shaver and Margie Vonnahme. Preceding her in death were her stepson, Louis; husband, Phil; sisters, Helen (Pete) Arhontas and Katherine (George) Zourkas; and daughter-in-law, Marcie (Louis).
