Velma Mae Fields, 85, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Formerly of Downers Grove, died Friday in her home of a lingering illness. Mrs. Fields was the wife of Robert C. Fields, retired Chairman of R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company of Chicago. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Fields of Cedar Rapids, IA.; sons, Mike Fields of LaPorte, CO and David Fields of Adams, WI. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11, at 11 a.m. at the Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, IA.
