They said they enjoyed Chicago when they were here filming “The Break-Up,” and now Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston may be headed back–separately–even as rumors swirl about their relationship.

Us Weekly reported last week that Vaughn and Aniston split, but there’s been no word from either star’s rep as to whether or not the report is accurate. (Then again, neither star’s rep confirmed the relationship in the first place.)

In the meantime, sources tell me Aniston is due on a flight into town this week on a private jet.

Vaughn, meanwhile, began shooting his latest comedy, “Fred Claus,” about Santa’s older and very bitter brother, in London. But he is set to continue filming in Chicago in the coming months.

“Originally in the screenplay, my character was supposed to be from New York. I said, ‘Let’s make him from Chicago,’ ” Vaughn said, according to the Tribune.

Calling all rockers

Rock stars of all kind flocked to Chicago last week. Tommy Lee, in town with his band Motley Crue and tourmates Aerosmith, celebrated his birthday at Enclave on Thursday night. The one time you’d think Lee would be partying too hard to DJ, he proved otherwise. The rocker spun on stage at the club for two hours and closed it down. Lee received rave reviews from the crowd–especially when he took his shirt off 20 minutes into his performance!

At Reserve nightclub on Saturday night, Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte were showing off their spinning skills. After partying at a VIP table, the Madden brothers took over the DJ booth and spun their favorite rock and hip-hop tunes.
