Don’t expect Sienna Miller’s next movie to do well in Pittsburgh–even though the city’s in the title.
The actress, who is shooting “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh,” really stepped in it when she made up a profane nickname for the city in an interview with Rolling Stone. Let’s just say it rhymes with Pittsburgh and contains a curse word.
“Can you believe this is my life?” she told the magazine. “Will you pity me when you’re back in your funky New York apartment and I’m still in Pittsburgh? I need more glamorous films.”
In an apology issued by her publicist, Miller (below) said her comments were taken out of context: “I was referring to the fact that we are shooting almost all night shoots on this film, and none of us have had an opportunity to fully explore the city. What I have seen of it is beautiful.”
