Thomas L. Ryan, 65 years, passed away October 7, 2006 after a gallant fight with cancer. Beloved son of the late Joseph C., retired C.P.D. and Louise, retired C.P.D., nee Piper, Ryan; loving brother of James, retired C.F.D. Chief (Irene, nee Tully) Ryan, Edward “Ned” (Rosemary) Ryan (former captain of Michigan State), William C. (Margaret, nee Bermingham) Ryan; dear nephew of Margaret White; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Survived by a host of friends from St. Brendan’s, Leo High School, Loyola University and Catholic Charities. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to St. John Fisher Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment private.
