Harold E. Claypool, Jr., of La Mesa, CA, formerly of Norridge, passed away Oct. 10, 2006 in La Mesa. Beloved husband of 55 years to Phyllis L., nee Casaccio; loving father of the late Kenneth, Nancy, JoAnne (James) Brichetto, Alan (Phyllis); the fun loving grandfather of eight beautiful grandchildren. For over 40 years, he was a popular and well-known diamond setter in the Pittsfield building at Washington and Wabash in Chicago. Was an active and well-respected member for many years of the Divine Savior Church community in Norridge. Also, was a 14 year member of the Kiwanis of the Balboa Park in San Diego. He was a proud WWII veteran spending time in occupied Japan. He will always be remembered as the most giving and loving husband, father and grandfather.
