Lady Sovereign’s video for “Love Me or Hate Me” has moved up to the top spot of MTV’s “TRL” countdown. That’s good news for the foul-mouthed British raptress–who played this summer’s Lollapalooza–as she prepares to drop her debut album “Public Warning” on Oct. 31.
She breaks into network TV with a Nov. 2 guest appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and another spot on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Nov. 9. Her North American tour with Young Love stops at the Metro on Nov. 4.
