Stephen Colbert celebrated the one-year anniversary of “The Colbert Report” earlier this week by offering viewers his portrait.
Colbert said he will auction on eBay the painting that hangs above the fireplace on the set of his Comedy Central show. It depicts a debonair Colbert standing in front of a similar portrait of himself. The winner will be announced on the Oct. 30 episode, and proceeds will benefit Save the Children.
“I’ve already saved the world,” Colbert said in a statement. “How hard could saving the children be?”
