Greta C. Bingham, nee Kitchen, age 74, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 18, 1932 and a longtime resident of New Lenox and a member of St. Jude’s Parish, New Lenox. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jonathon Healy. Loving wife of William E. Bingham, married April 15, 1950. Also survived by her 12 children, Michael (Mary) Bingham, Peter (Donna) Bingham, Christine (Arlie) Marks, Toni (Brian) Burich, Susan Bingham, Joan Downey, Judy (Barry) Healy, William D. (Laura) Bingham, Elizabeth (Kevin) Sallese Sr., Mary Rose Bingham, Barbara (Louie) Tomasino and Patricia (Frank) Bertucci; 32 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Dennis (Diane) Kitchen; four sisters, Janet (Lorenzo) Peloso, Darlene (Daniel) Maki, Marie (Roy) Daley and Theresa (Kenneth) Harlson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 3 to 7 p.m. Prayer service Monday, October 23, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel following to St. Jude Catholic Church for Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Interment Schoolcraft Township Cemetery, Lake Linden, MI.
