Now that the Cubs have hired Lou Piniella, the baseball version of Bob Knight, I’m looking forward to the first chair being tossed from the dugout all the way to first base.
If nothing else, Piniella’s presence will put some life into Wrigley Field, especially the dugout. I hope Lou’s presence doesn’t scare some of the younger players, since he is old enough to be their grandfather.
