Hanna Block, nee Hirsch, 80, native of Frankfort, Germany, retired legal secretary, lifelong student, volunteer and supporter of the arts, passed away Oct. 12, 2006 following a brief illness. Hanna was the beloved wife of Sidney Block, co-owner of Printworks Gallery, she died just three days short of their 56th wedding anniversary. She was the loving aunt of Dr. Ronald (Pat) Hirsch of Elgin and Sandi (Chuck) Shelton of Nashville and the sister-in-law of Henry (Helen) Block of Chicago. The family wishes to especially thank Bob Hiebert for his loving care and attention. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rudolph Hirsch.
