Norma Ruben, 77, Sept. 22, 2006, following a long and courageous battle with a devastating disease. She is dearly loved by her surviving sister, Joyce Schiller and brother-in-law Fil Schiller; nieces Ellen and Wilma, nephew Matt; grandniece Hannah and grandnephews Daniel and Benjamin. A resident of Sarasota, FL, coming from Lake Forest, IL. She brought her marvelous sense of humor, songs, poetry, a love of books and charming memories of her deceased brother, Gil. Norma worked for a large legal firm for many years and regaled us with stories of her experiences in the Windy City’s tall tower. We who love her so much will celebrate her life every day of ours. Memorial service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL.
