Even though Addison had to choose between McDreamy and McSteamy on “Grey’s Anatomy,” the actor that plays Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloane said there’s no real rivalry between him and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd).
“I don’t feel any competition with Patrick,” Eric Dane told People. “But he keeps asking me when my calendar is coming out.”
Speaking of a calendar, how does he keep up that great body?
“Weightlifting–it gets the aggression out,” Dane said. “No yoga! I’m competitive, and you can’t score points in yoga.”
And in real life, Dane is happily married to actress Rebecca Gayheart.
He said life with her “has been wonderful. On a whim, we ran to Vegas and got married [in Oct. ’04]. We’d been together nine months, and we just knew.”
