Diddy has called Nicole Scherzinger (below) “one of the next female superstars,” and now she’ll have a chance to prove it by taking a break from the Pussycat Dolls to record her solo debut, mtv.com reports.
But what’ll she call herself?
“Maybe Nicole Scherzinger, maybe just Nicole–definitely nothing to do with the Pussycat Dolls,” she told MTV last week. “Fergie got her name from her last name, Ferguson. I guess people can call me Scherzie … or Zinger.”
