Norbert “Norb” Oliver, age 76, of Naperville, IL, at rest Monday, Oct. 23, 2006. Born December 7, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH. Loving son of the late Walter and Mathilda Oliver; beloved husband of 51 years of Dawn; loving father of Kevin (Karen) Oliver, Joseph (Kathleen Maltese) Oliver, Alise (Partner Patti Hall) Oliver and Renee Oliver; dear grandfather of Patrick, Elizabeth and Gabriel Oliver; cherished brother of Rose Marie (Warren) Selke, Audrey (the late Jim) Ries and the late Walter, Jr.; fond uncle of several. Served in the U.S. Army. Retired from Northern Illinois Gas. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Friedreich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 28, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville, IL.
