Robert Michael “Bobby” LaGrippe, born on May 15, 1946, in Chicago, beloved son of the late Victoria and William LaGrippe; loving brother of Jospeh (Ruth), Jeanne (Chester) Filipowicz, James (Anne), Margaret (Griffin) Sepsey, Paul (Saliee) and the late William (Sandra); dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bobby was mentally challenged since birth and was raised on Meade Ave. in the Riis Park community. At age fifteen Bob moved to Little City in Palatine, IL, which is a community for mentally disabled children. Bob resided at Little City for thirty five years and spent his last five years at ASTA Nursing Home in Elgin, IL. Family and friends will meet at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills, IL 60514. Visitation is at Notre Dame Church, Thursday, Oct. 26, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with funeral Mass immediately following at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Little City Foundation, 1760 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. Entombment will be held in the LaGrippe Family Mausoleum at Bronswood Cemetery.
