Nominating petition forms for the April 17 School Board election are available from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in the District Office, 400 N. Lake St., Grayslake. On the date of election, candidates must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, a resident of Illinois and the school district for at least one year immediately preceding the election, and a registered voter. John McGuan, a 6-year-old pupil at Butterfield School, was named grand-prize winner of the Chicago Bears and Staley the Mascot’s First & Goal School Program. More than 20,000 children throughout the state competed in the program to fight childhood obesity.John will receive tickets to a Bears game, an autographed ball and other prizes.
WARREN TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 121
Nominating petition forms for the April School Board election are available from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. school days in the District Office at Warren Township High School, 17962 W. Gages Lake Rd., Gages Lake. Three seats on the 7-member board will be filled. The three candidates elected will serve a 4-year term expiring in April 2011.
