Daniel Leo Shallow, 75, of North Port, passed away Oct. 21, 2006. He was born Nov. 21, 1930 in Chicago, IL. He moved to the area in 1993 from Chicago. He was a fireman for the city of Chicago Fire Department having retired in 1993. He was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Juanita M. Shallow of North Port, FL; sons, Thomas, Jerry, Ken, Jack and Paul; daughters, Kathleen, Mary, Marge, Elizabeth and Pat; two sisters, Rosemary Stifter and Geraldine Sweeny, both of Chicago, IL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at 1 p.m. at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, FL. Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
