This is regarding “When Harry met Satan” (Editorial, Oct. 9). The true problem with books of Harry Potter’s ilk is not witchcraft per se; it is teaching young people that if you obtain enough power, you can basically control your world to suit your own wants.
How has that worked in business and politics so far?
Perhaps we need to teach young people that the goal is not to control everything tailored to their personal desires but to solve problems for the benefit of all.
