Julius Kaplan, age 94, passed away on Oct 25. He was Assistant Director of Chemical Research at Helene Curtis and received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at University of Illinois. Beloved husband of Geraldine; loving father of Robert, Janet (Cohn) and Deborah (Evans); cherished grandfather of Jeremy and Daniel Kaplan, Elli Emmons, Ben Kasman, Rebecca Cohn, Willy and Rachel Evans; great-grandfather of Madeleine and Jackson Emmons, Theo, Riley and Sophia Kaplan; beloved brother of Harold Kaplan; and special fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
