William L. Wingader, 66, of Highland Park, passed away on October 12 at Highland Park Hospital. He was born in Chicago on March 30, 1940, and was a former longtime resident of Lake Forest. He received a B.A. from Knox College, Galesburg, IL, in 1962 and an M.B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomingdon, IN, in 1964. Mr. Wingader was a retired investment banker and enrrepreneur, and was actively involved in the First Church of Christ Scientist in Lake Forest, where he served as President of the Board and was a former First Reader. He was a beloved father, grandfather and brother, an avid Chicago sports fan and had many other interests and hobbies. Surviving are four children: Michael (Sandra) Wingader of Libertyville, Stephen (Cathryn) Wingader of Libertyville, Janice (Michael) MacDougal of Chicago and Lisa (Michael) Richter of Lake Bluff; brother, Thomas Wingader of Evanston; five grandchildren: Ryan, Keira, Kyle, Brooke and Ashley; and former wife, Judith. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 3, at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, 700 N. Sheridan Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045.
