Maybe it is just me, but I have to wonder why people even consider watching TV during the month prior to major elections.

Throughout the year, commercials take up a good portion of any TV program’s time slot. This does not change prior to elections; the content of the commercials, however, changes radically.

I am so sick and tired of seeing political ads telling me how wrong, incompetent, etc. the candidate’s opponent is. I have to ask: Does the candidate not have any qualities, ideas or thoughts worth telling the public about and thus has to revert to mudslinging against his or her opponent?

This is so sad.

Thank goodness my TV has an off button,
