This Election Day I will be voting, for the first time, for a Republican for Cook County Board president. It is ironic that the more I learn of Tony Peraica, the more I realize he represents the true values of the Democratic Party I once knew–values like honesty, respect for the taxpayer and transparency of government.
These are values that are alien to Todd Stroger.
