The Tennessee Titans suspended cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones for one game as punishment for his long list of off-field incidents. Jones won’t play Sunday against the Jaguars.
Coach Jeff Fisher said Jones also will be fined what he called “significant financial … considerations.”
The loss of one game check would be $49,558, and Jones also faces potential punishment from the NFL for violating its personal-conduct policy.
– The Jets’ Curtis Martin, 33, the fourth-leading career rusher, acknowledged Wednesday that a knee injury will cause him to miss the entire season. “I don’t know if that’s possible,” he said when asked about playing in the future.
