Despite her public battle with Tom Cruise over the use of antidepressants, Brooke Shields and Cruise’s fiance Katie Holmes seemed to be best buds at a charity event in Pacific Palisades, Calif., on Sunday, an onlooker told People magazine.
Apparently, the two moms, who gave birth to daughters on the same day–April 18–at the same L.A. hospital, are pals.
At a benefit for Hands of Change, a mentoring program for women, Shields told “Access Hollywood” that she and Holmes are “absolutely” friends.
“You never know how life is going to bring people together.”
