John Paxton Walsh, Veteran of WWII, longtime resident of Riverside, where he served on the Riverside-Brookfield High School and the Riverside Playground and Recreation boards, born in Chicago January 24, 1918, passed away peacefully at home in Lombard on November 12, in the loving companionship of his wife of 55 years, Nancy; of his son, John; and of his grandniece, Heather. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Lexington Square of Lombard.
