In your Nov. 9 editorial “The nation’s new warrior,” once again you seemed to have reversed the sequence of things. George W. Bush didn’t “get it” until Wednesday, Nov. 8, because the powerful message sent was the one by the American people on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and not by Donald Rumsfeld’s resignation.
