Many reports in the media tell of a new sculpture being placed at the south end of Grant Park (“`Spooky,’ `ugly’–and `really powerful’; 106 headless sculptures in Grant Park could stir reaction not seen since Picasso debut,” Page 1, Nov. 16, and “Provocative achievement in Grant Park,” Tempo, Nov. 16).
The sculpture consists of feet and legs and torsos but no heads.
The pairs of feet are all going in different directions.
I am sure the only appropriate nickname for this sculpture is:
I lost my keys.
