James Chalmers, 48, of Niles, died on Oct. 26., son of the late Herbert and Elizabeth, nee Denison; brother of Margaret (Hickey) and Virginia Ormerod; uncle of Julie Hickey, Billy Burger, Anne, Peter and Ellen Ormerod. He was employed at Northrup for the past 25 years. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at St. Simon’s Church, 717 Kirchoff Road, Arlington Heights, IL at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Amyloidosis Support Network, 1490 Herndon Lane, Marietta, GA 30062.
