Thomas C. Eley, 82, died Nov. 23, 2006, due to brain and liver cancer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Salli Hearst Eley; his sons Thomas III (Victoria) and John (Susie) of New York City; his sister G.G. (Chuck) Cleveland; and six grandchildren, T.C. (Thomas IV), Samantha, Andrew, Theodore “Teddy”, Lauren, Katherine and Megan. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Dec. 2, 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. James, 65 E. Huron.
